The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church is an ancient and national Church that is established based on the teaching of the prophets and apostles and that embodies centuries of legacy for being leader and teaching of moral law and that will continue to prevail here forth with guidance and protection of God.

The Debre Menkirat St. George Ethiopian O.T.C is a spiritual unite of the Orthodox Tewahdo Church of Ethiopian abiding by its teaching of Christianity and religious regulations with respect to matters of faith, worship, and creed. The Church was established by Ethiopians living in the Dallas Fort Worth area, in the City of Garland in 2007.
The church is to be faithful in fulfilling the commandment of Christ to baptizing everyone in the name of father, and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. The Church magnify the oneness and trinity of God through rich and reverent worship and bible teaching. We peruse love and Unity as we build one another up, to the Glory of God.

Mission & Objectives

Debre Menkirat St. George Church is a church dedicated to fulfilling the Biblical Word. We strive to accomplish the above mission by exemplifying the life, the Word and the teachings of Jesus Christ and by providing worship experiences, Bible studies and programming which ministers to situations and circumstances in our community and environments that we live, work and enjoy recreation.
